30-day trial
How to start the free trial, what it includes, the day-25 reminder, and what happens on day 31.
The trial is free for 30 days. It needs no credit card. It is for one person to connect BigQuery and see real findings before paying.
Start the trial
- Sign up with your work email. Signup asks for no plan and no card.
- After you sign in, the Choose your plan page opens. It shows the same plans as the pricing page.
- Click Request free trial.
- Our team reviews the request. You get an email when it is approved.
- The 30 days start when the trial is approved, not when you signed up.
While you wait, the Choose your plan page checks for approval by itself. You can also pay for a plan at any time instead. A paid plan starts at once and needs no approval.
Before a plan is chosen
Until the trial is approved or a plan is paid, the app does not save changes. You can look around, but connecting BigQuery and other changes wait for a plan.
What the trial includes
The trial is its own free plan, not a trial of a paid plan. It has most of the Starter features, with these differences:

Everything else is the same as Starter:
- Scans every 6 hours, with 30 days of job history.
- All 23 cost rules with dollar estimates.
- Dashboards, anomaly detection and cost centers.
- Email, Slack and webhook alerts, budget alerts and scan reports.
- CSV and Excel downloads, and weekly or monthly report emails.
- dbt cost views and the 7 dbt findings.
Growth, Pro and Enterprise features stay locked. A locked page shows a lock icon in the sidebar and a short note that names the plan you need.
Teammates during the trial
The trial has one seat: the person who started it, as owner.
Teammates from your company domain can still sign up. They join your account, but they wait on the Access pending screen. They get access when the account moves to a paid plan with more seats and an owner gives them a role. See Teams, roles, and settings.
Countdown and reminder
- Every page shows how many days are left.
- On day 25 (5 days left), the banner turns into a warning.
- On day 25 we also send one email to every owner. It says when the trial ends and when the data will be deleted.
Choose a plan during the trial
Open Settings → Billing on any day of the trial and click Choose a plan. Pick Starter, Growth or Pro, monthly or yearly, and pay with a card. The new plan starts at once. Your connection, scans, findings and settings stay as they are.
If your BigQuery spend is above $50k a month, talk to us about Enterprise. You can reply to the day-25 email.
When the trial ends (day 31)
If you did not choose a plan:
- Scans stop. No new data is read from BigQuery.
- The app turns read-only. Every page except Settings shows the locked screen.
- The locked screen shows the total savings we found in your warehouse, per month.
- Changes are not saved, except in Settings → Billing, so you can still pay.
What happens to your data
We keep your data for 30 more days after the trial ends. Then we delete it. The locked screen shows the exact delete date.
- Choose a plan before that date: everything comes back, and scans start again.
- Choose a plan after that date: your scan data is gone. We scan your warehouse again from the start. Your BigQuery data was never touched, so nothing in Google Cloud is lost.
